Scientific Contributions
Newton’s discoveries regarding optics, motion, gravity and mathematics can be discovered through a variety of ways, though they are most easily explored through studying his written works. For example, ‘The Opticks’, Newton's most widely read book, presents Newton’s theories regarding light and colour in a series of three books. The publication of ‘Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica’ revealed Newton’s thoughts on gravity and motion. Similar to 'The Opticks', this published work has three sections:
Through these books, the information that has changed the course of science is made readily available. |
